The work
What you will actually own.
This is the day-to-day scope of the role, not an aspirational list.
Build integrations that sync products, orders, policies, and help content into a customer's assistant.
Own the Shopify and WooCommerce integrations end to end, including app review and version upgrades.
Design sync that degrades gracefully when a partner API is slow, rate limited, or down.
Write the setup documentation, and treat a confusing install step as a bug worth fixing.
Turn recurring integration support requests into product changes instead of a longer help article.
Requirements
What we are looking for.

Essential
- Three or more years integrating third-party APIs in production.
- Experience with OAuth flows, webhooks, and API rate limit handling.
- Familiarity with at least one major ecommerce or help desk platform.
- Patience for partner API documentation that does not match partner API behaviour.
- Strong debugging skills across systems you do not control.
Nice to have
- Published a Shopify app or worked through Shopify app review.
- Experience with Zapier or Make integration development.
- Background in data mapping or ETL work.
